What to do on the last summer day? Try to catch the last bronzing rays of light, to dive with a huge splash into still comforting blue waters, to go wild with an exciting company at a season farewell party or to end the day with a bunch of giggles or goosebumps entertaining yourselves with August comedy, horror or family movies. Well, the choice is all yours. But just in case, we'll leave the list of new releases in the above mentioned genres here:

COMEDY

Plot Synopsis: A hilarious and heartfelt ensemble comedy that follows the lives of multiple dog owners and their beloved fluffy pals around sunny Los Angeles. When these human and canine's paths start to intertwine, their lives begin changing in ways they never expected.

Plot Synopsis: When a group of teenage friends goes on a spring break camping trip, an unfortunate accident sets off a race against time to save their friend's most prized possession.

Plot Synopsis: The story follows Rachel Chu (Constance Wu), an American-born Chinese economics professor, who travels to her boyfriend Nick's (Henry Golding) hometown of Singapore for his best friend's wedding. Before long, his secret is out: Nick is from a family that is impossibly wealthy, he's perhaps the most eligible bachelor in Asia, and every single woman in his ultra-rarefied social class is incredibly jealous of Rachel and wants to bring her down.

Plot Synopsis: Small time crooks Eddie (Sam Rockwell) and Paul (Ben Schwartz) are in over their heads when a cute London lawyer hires them to steal a rare jewel. Meanwhile, a mullet-haired gangster wants the gem for himself. Bullets and sparks fly in this pond-hopping comedic caper.

Plot Synopsis: No Sesame. All Street. It is a filthy comedy set in the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles where puppets and humans coexist. Two clashing detectives with a shared secret, one human (Melissa McCarthy) and one puppet, are forced to work together again to solve the brutal murders of the former cast of a beloved classic puppet television show.

HORROR

Plot Synopsis: In a small town in Massachusetts, four high school girls perform a ritual in an attempt to debunk the lore of Slender Man. When one of the girls goes mysteriously missing, they begin to suspect that she is, in fact, his latest victim.

Plot Synopsis: Kit (AnnaSophia Robb), a difficult young girl, is sent to the mysterious Blackwood Boarding School when her heated temper becomes too much for her mother to handle. Once she arrives at Blackwood, Kit encounters eccentric headmistress Madame Duret (Uma Thurman) and meets the school's only other students, four young women also headed down a troubled path. While exploring the labyrinthine corridors of the school, Kit and her classmates discover that Blackwood Manor hides an age-old secret rooted in the paranormal.

Plot Synopsis: Jackie (Hannah Emily Anderson) and Jules (Brittany Allen) are a couple celebrating their one year anniversary at a secluded cabin in the woods belonging to Jackie's family. From the moment they arrive, something changes in Jules' normally loving wife, as Jackie (if that even is her real name) begins to reveal a previously unknown dark side - all building up to a shocking revelation that will pit Jules against the woman she loves most in a terrifying fight to survive.

Plot Synopsis: An unprecedented global pandemic of a super strain of rabies has turned the majority of humankind into violent ‘infected'. One victim, Morgan (Matt Smith), who is asymptomatic and can communicate with the infected, leads the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and to find an antidote to save humanity, including his infected wife. But Mrs Ayres (Charlotte Rampling), and her two grown children, Caroline (Ruth Wilson) and Roddy (Will Poulter), are haunted by something more ominous than a dying way of life. When he takes on his new patient, Faraday has no idea how closely, and how terrifyingly, the family's story is about to become entwined with his own.

FAMILY AND ANIMATION

Plot Synopsis: An adult Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor), who is now focused on his new life, work, and family, suddenly meets his old friend Winnie the Pooh (voiced by Jim Cummings), who returns to his unforgotten childhood past to help him return to the Hundred Acre Wood and help find Pooh's lost friends.

Plot Synopsis: The film follows a young girl (Loreto Peralta) and her reporter brother (William Moseley) as they travel to a small Mississippi town to meet a woman believed to be a mermaid of legend (Poppy Drayton).
