Exhibitionism:The Rolling Stones

If you still can‘t get satisfaction, visit Saatchi Gallery London this summer. From April 5 it hosts the first international exhibition on The Rolling Stones called Exhibitionism.

Till September 4, nine halls of the gallery exhibit 500 orginal items belonging to one of the greatest music bands of the previous – and also current – century. The journey begins with the start of the band in 1962. There‘s reconstruction of ‘Edith Grove’, the first flat in Chelsea where members of the band were living. Well, its‘s not the darest of pictures to peek into the kitchen or bedroom of the young bohemian guys who probably havent‘t heard a word „clean“ in their lives.

You also may enter the recording studio with original song writing papers and rare music instruments belonging to The Rolling Stones. You may even participate in recording by having an access to interactive mixing desks, which allow incresing or reducing  main vocal, back vocal, guitar and other components of certain Rolling Stones songs.

There‘s a mini cinema theatre where you can skip through all documentaries made on The Rolling Stones commented by the famous director Martin Scorsese or catch up with all their video clips in a special montage. The Rolling Stones scene costumes, diaries, album art, photography, even original stage designs – everything is on display.

The final accent of the exhibition is participation in a 3D concert experience. But first you enter the backstage, as it should really look during the concert. There‘s no one who can remain still while listening to (I Can Get No) Satisfaction. The Rolling Stones ignite the masses of fans for 54 years and there‘s still more to come.

No photos or video allowed at the exhibition. Therefore, you have to get there to see everything by yourselves! Don’t miss this cool opportunity!
