Venice's Golden Lion To Woman Unknown By May el-Toukhy
The 83rd Venice International Film Festival came to a close on September 12, 2026, with Danish-Egyptian director May el-Toukhy’s Woman Unknown taking home the festival’s most prestigious prize, the Golden Lion for Best Film.
