Boo! Spooky October Already In Cinemas


October is a horror movie month, as predetermined by the night of Halloween. Therefore, this month features even five new horror movies for your entertainment. For those who are too sensitive to watch scary plots, October also offers a number of jolly comedies. So trick or treat or give a laugh.

HORROR

Director: Thomas Dekker Written by: Thomas Dekker Starring: Rory Culkin, Lin Shaye, Britt Robertson, Daveigh Chase, Natasha Lyonne, Nikki Reed, Louis Hunter Plot Synopsis: Jack is an educated and well versed magazine editor living in Los Angeles. In a violent and horrific car crash, his father has perished while his mother has survived. He returns to his hometown of Denver, Colorado to nurse his mother through her physical and emotional injuries. During his stay at home, he uncovers long buried secrets and lies within his family history, his parents, his friends and his very identity. Jack's journey to the truth is fueled by madness, sexuality, hauntings and violence. For Jack, there truly is NO PLACE LIKE HOME.

Teamed with a classmate, the two are led to investigate a multiple homicide/suicide that eventually is discovered to have been an exorcism gone horribly wrong. Brandon quickly becomes obsessed with the event, and decides the only way to research this topic is to undergo it himself. Brandon realizes that though he was incredibly intrigued by it, he has taken on more than he can handle.

Inviting audiences again into the lore of the spirit board, Ouija: Origin of Evil tells a terrifying new tale as the follow-up to 2014.

But when the customized scare seemingly begins, he and his friends must decide if this company is there to scare them, or make them pawns in their own sick game.

Meanwhile, Rafe struggles to hide his misbehavior from Jeanne (Isabela Moner), the straight-A, overachieving girl of his dreams, and at home, his mother's boyfriend — a moochy, jack-of-no-trades named Bear — threatens to become his stepfather.
