She has always been obsessed with capturing old abandoned farmhouses, fascinated by the hidden histories they keep secret, epitaphs of lives once lived. She's made a career as an artist systematically scouring Prince Edward County to find one particular house that is etched in her memory. She doesn't know where the house is or why it's important, but she is deeply compelled to find it. Then one day she does, and it's managed by her uncle, Patrick (Dermot Mulroney). Then slowly and surely, Jane's life begins to unravel when she learns that she lived in that house, her family died in that house, and in fact, she still owns it. With her husband Alan (Diego Klattenhoff) and daughter Alice (Lola Flanery), Jane soon finds herself haunted by a family she didn't know existed, but are they ghosts, or memories long since forgotten, pushing their way to the surface like a splinter in her brain? Begging to be remembered.

One day, a female stranger asks Logan to drive a girl named Laura to the Canadian border. At first he refuses, but the Professor has been waiting for a long time for her to appear. Laura possesses an extraordinary fighting prowess and is in many ways like Wolverine. She is pursued by sinister figures working for a powerful corporation; this is because her DNA contains the secret that connects her to Logan. A relentless pursuit begins... In this third cinematic outing featuring the Marvel comic book character Wolverine we see the superheroes beset by everyday problems. They are aging, ailing and struggling to survive financially. It would appear that in the near-future, the times in which they were able to put the world to rights with razor sharp claws and telepathic powers are now over.
