She's made a career as an artist systematically scouring Prince Edward County to find one particular house that is etched in her memory. She doesn't know where the house is or why it's important, but she is deeply compelled to find it. Then one day she does, and it's managed by her uncle, Patrick (Dermot Mulroney). Then slowly and surely, Jane's life begins to unravel when she learns that she lived in that house, her family died in that house, and in fact, she still owns it. With her husband Alan (Diego Klattenhoff) and daughter Alice (Lola Flanery), Jane soon finds herself haunted by a family she didn't know existed, but are they ghosts, or memories long since forgotten, pushing their way to the surface like a splinter in her brain?
