April Action And Thriller From Salt And Fire To Fast And Furious


Time for some action. April introduces nine new action/thriller movies, including the eighth (eighth?) sequel of Fast and Furious: The Fate of The Furious leaving Vin Diesel on the evil side and the adventurous drama The Lost City of Z starring Charlie Hunnam and Sienna Miller and produced by Brad Pitt. Apart from those two, there are seven more engaging stories you'd like to watch. Take a look at the list to find the most intriguing to follow:

Director: Werner Herzog Written by: Tom Bissell Starring: Michael Shannon, Gael Garcia Bernal, Veronica Ferres, Werner Herzog Plot Synopsis: The United Nations has sent a scientific delegation, led by researchers Laura (Veronica Ferres) and Fabio (Gael Garcia Bernal), to investigate rare South American geological formations. But as soon as they land, the crew is kidnapped by minions of rogue businessman Matt Riley (Michael Shannon), who has his own agenda when it comes to environmental protection. Deep inside his compound, Laura becomes separated from her fellow explorers and drawn deeper into Riley's world, but try as she might, she can't predict his final plan.

Only this time, her morning hangover comes with the news that a giant lizard has rampaged through Seoul’s downtown core, and the sneaking suspicion that she’s somehow connected to this remarkable event.

Konney, Jesse Mittelstadt, Richard Switzer Starring: Dolph Lundgren, Denise Richards, Greer Grammer, Chuck Liddell Plot Synopsis: After a headstrong FBI agent (Denise Richards) goes against the chain of command on a hostage negotiation, she is headed to a desk job in Washington, DC. While on the plane she meets a handsome businessman who offers her millions if she assists him in getting off the plane alive. At first she laughs it off as a joke, but she soon realizes that his ex-partners have hijacked the plane. Now, it's up to her to save the passengers, while choosing sides in a mid-air confrontation between two factions of a criminal gang.

Director: Ben Wheatley Written by: Ben Wheatley Starring: Armie Hammer, Cillian Murphy, Brie Larson, Sharlto Copley, Jack Raynor, Sam Riley, Noah Taylor, Enzo Cilenti, Babou Ceesay, Michael Smiley Plot Synopsis: Ben Wheatley steps up the action on his most ambitious film to date with an arms deal that goes spectacularly and explosively wrong… Justine (Brie Larson) has brokered a meeting in a deserted warehouse between two Irishmen (Cillian Murphy, Michael Smiley) and a gang led by Vernon (Sharlto Copley) and Ord (Armie Hammer) who are selling them a stash of guns. About 24 hours later, in an anonymous laboratory, she is tied up and questioned about her medical history, including her great fear of spiders. Soon her captors explain to her that with her genetic abnormality can potentially allow her to rupture in which her own alien nature can be released. Through the experience of one's deepest fear (in Renee's case spiders) causes this transforming her into her true self.
