Cannes Ready To Celebrate Cinema For The 70th Time

Tomorrow, May 17, all the flashlights of the world will turn to the red carpet at Les Croisettes in Cannes, as the 70th Film Festival de Cannes will mark its opening. Under the presidency of the Spanish director, screenwriter and producer Pedro Almodóvar, the Jury of the Festival will select from the films offered for Competition. The winners of the Palme d'or will be announced on May 28 during the Closing Ceremony.

The Opening Ceremony will be followed by the Opening film Les Fantômes d'Ismaël directed by Arnaud Desplechin. Click to view the whole programme of the Official Selection presented for screening.
