June Is Hilarious Not Scary At Cinemas

There's no chance to compete with FIFA World Cup for the following thirty days or so. It all goes in one package: action, drama, comedy and, of course, horror for the losers. However, don't limit yourselves to those 22 guys chasing one ball trice a day - there's so much more exciting new things around. Cinema included. Especially when June brings a huge dose of laugh with its comedies and goosebumps - with its horror films. Check them out!

COMEDY

Plot Synopsis: Everyone's favorite daredevil Johnny Knoxville is back to his hilariously painful antics! Knoxville stars as D.C., the crackpot owner of a low-rent, out-of-control amusement park where the rides are designed with minimum safety for maximum fun. Just as D.C.'s estranged teenage daughter Boogie comes to visit, a corporate mega-park opens nearby and jeopardizes the future of Action Point. To save his beloved theme park and his relationship with his daughter, D.C. and his loony crew of misfits risk everything to pull out all the stops - and stunts.

Plot Synopsis: For one month every year, five highly competitive friends hit the ground running in a no-holds-barred game of tag they’ve been playing since the first grade - risking their necks, their jobs and their relationships to take each other down with the battle cry: 'You’re It!' This year, the game coincides with the wedding of their only undefeated player, which should finally make him an easy target. But he knows they’re coming…and he’s ready.

Plot Synopsis: Izzy Klein (Madelyn Deutch) has (barely) graduated from college, broken up (sorta) with her boyfriend, and has a bad case of pre-real-world millennial-itis. Throughout the year, she falls in and out of some not so romantic romances, and figures out that when it totally feels like the end of your story, it's often just the beginning.

Plot Synopsis: A shy British graduate gets dragged on a wild road trip across America to a fraternity party by his soon-to-be stepbrothers, as his mother marries into a larger-than-life, American family.

Plot Synopsis: Laura (Vera Farmiga) is a single mother living in Seattle, who has a constant need to put others and animals before her. When her estranged, criminally-minded father Jack (Christopher Plummer) is kicked out of his retirement home, Laura agrees to drive him down the coast to live with her sister JoJo (Kristen Schaal) in LA. Along for the ride is her bright but troubled son Henry, and an assortment of animal charity cases. Without telling Laura, Jack convinces Henry to help him sell off his copious supply of marijuana at every stop of their journey, resulting in unexpected reunions with old friends and family.

Plot Synopsis: When a hung over woman (Mackenzie Davis) finds out her ex-boyfriend is marrying her former best friend, she desperately makes her way across Los Angeles to crash the engagement party.

Plot Synopsis: Paul (Paul Rudd) and Erasmus (Steve Coogan) are a bickering couple with an extravagant life. Erasmus is a demanding, popular celebrity, and Paul is his more hesitant partner and sidekick. But when Bill (Jack Gore), the grandson Erasmus never knew he had, shows up at their high class dinner party with nowhere else to go, the couple reluctantly decides to take him in. Despite the difficulties of incorporating a child they never wanted into their life, Bill grows on them. But when Bill’s father is released from prison and comes to take back his son, the men realize that you don’t fight with your family, you fight for them.

Plot Synopsis: After draining his life savings to enter a team in the Rucker Classic street ball tournament in Harlem, Dax (Lil Rel Howery) is dealt a series of unfortunate setbacks, including losing his team to his longtime rival (Nick Kroll). Desperate to win the tournament and the cash prize, Dax stumbles upon the man, the myth, the legend Uncle Drew (NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving) and convinces him to return to the court one more time. The two men embark on a road trip to round up Drew's old basketball squad (Shaquille O'Neal, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, Nate Robinson, and Lisa Leslie) and prove that a group of septuagenarians can still win the big one.

HORROR

Plot Synopsis: When Ellen, the matriarch of the Graham family, passes away, her daughter's family begins to unravel cryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry. The more they discover, the more they find themselves trying to outrun the sinister fate they seem to have inherited.

Plot Synopsis: A riveting psychological thriller about paranoia, loyalty, and ambition that tests the boundaries of trust as nine friends sneak into an abandoned prison to film a ghost hunting video. When their friend, Hank (Luke Persiani), disappears, everyone is pointing fingers and placing blame until they realize they may not be alone.

ANIMATION

Plot Synopsis: This time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of "normal" life. Its a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jacks emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again - which is easier said than done, even when they're all Incredible.
