Missed in 2020, the Festival de Cannes 2021 will take place on July 6 -17 instead of a traditional May but it is better to have it a couple of months later than not to have it at all. Judy Foster, an American actress, director and producer, will be a special guest at the Opening ceremony at the Palais des Festivals and will receive an Honorable Palme d'or in recognition of a brilliant artistic journey, and a unique personality with a modest yet strong commitment to some of the major issues of our time.
