September Brings Back Action To The Screens
It is over. The hottest and most relaxing season is gone. On a rainy day you can't expect an upcoming week to become warmer. The pessimist inside you whispers "smile, the worst is yet to come". And who cares about the Indian summer? But forget this old stereotype of changing seasons. In one aspect autumn is always better than summer - cinema is returning to town. New releases await to flood their audience with drama, thriller, horror and comedies. Forty-three new films are about to hit cinema theatres in September. Nine of them belong to action/thriller category, which are going to rock the world:
Plot Synopsis: A film about a team of Navy SEALs on assignment in war-torn Europe who discover a treasure of gold at the bottom of a lake - rumored to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. In an effort to help the locals, they go rogue and engineer a heist to retrieve the gold and return it to its rightful owners. But in a deadly turn of events, they are detected by the enemy and left with only 10 hours to carry out their mission.
Plot Synopsis: On the morning of September 11 2001, a messenger sings Happy Birthday to You to his daughter, a billionaire argues with his wife in a divorce hearing, a maintenance man begins his day, and a young Russian decides she's breaking up with her sugar daddy. When the first plane hits the World Trade Center, these five elevator passengers find themselves trapped. Forced to band together, they fight against all odds to escape before the imminent and inevitable collapse occurs.
Plot Synopsis: Set in Chile, the story follows the experience of Turk Henry, rock star and bassist for a recently split mega platinum music band. Married to a supermodel and rich beyond his wildest dreams, Turk finds his pampered paunch plopped on the beach. Turk soon discovers this location is probably the last place a recovering sex addict should go on vacation. As he struggles with monogamy, his wife is mysteriously abducted by a group of renegade, ship-less pirates. Having never organized anything more challenging than a club sandwich from room service, Turk embarks on a mission to rescue his wife. With life skills better suited to playing bass, playing the field, and partying he is forced to navigate the back alleys of Bangkok, with hilarious escapades in the local flesh pots. And take on ruthless bandits in the deadly countryside.
Plot Synopsis: The story takes place in the fictionalized version of a Finnish city, Mikkeli. It's the story of a man blinded by his desire for revenge and hatred, a Finnish superhero, a masked vigilante who seeks for revenge and fights against VALA, a huge criminal organization.
Plot Synopsis: The devil's outlaw and reluctant servant, Guerrero (Danny Trejo) returns from the dead again in this action-packed western which promises to be one hell of a ride. Guerrero is forced to protect a stolen relic from getting into the hands of Jackson Boomer (Jake Busey) and his gang of soldiers, but Jackson will stop at nothing to raise his comrades from the dead and bring the wrath of hell upon earth. Guerrero must use all his dark powers in order to defeat Jackson and find redemption…or die again trying.
Plot Synopsis: The film follows the rise of Mitch Rapp (Dylan O'Brien) a CIA black ops recruit under the instruction of Cold War veteran Stan Hurley (Michael Keaton). The pair is then enlisted by CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy (Sanaa Lathan) to investigate a wave of apparently random attacks on both military and civilian targets. Together the three discover a pattern in the violence leading them to a joint mission with a lethal Turkish agent (Shiva Negar) to stop a mysterious operative (Taylor Kitsch) intent on starting a World War in the Middle East.

Plot Synopsis: The film tells the story of Barry Seal (Tom Cruise), a TWA pilot who is recruited by the CIA to give recognition against the emerging communist threat in Central America. Seal is in charge of a major CIA covert operation in US history, a feat that led the Medellin cartel and brought embarrassment to the Reagan White House because of the Iran scandal.
