Substitute Your Personal Drama With New July Drama Movies

You know what the biggest drama looks like? It's when you come to the office on Monday and realize that your colleague on the right is not present because he's already on the plane to some chill-out place on a holiday island and your days on the beach are unfortunately already over. Even the rainy weather and a light summer coat on the hanger in your office closet can't minimize this psychological damage. Well, we aren't going to motivate you to search for positive vibes but perhaps a new July drama movie could overlap this unfair situation?

Plot Synopsis: Sisters Lucy (Ellen Page) and Martha Morrow (Amy Seimetz) are regular attendees at state executions across the Midwest, where they demonstrate in favour of abolishing the death penalty. At one such event, Lucy spots Mercy (Kate Mara), daughter of a police officer whose partner was killed by a man about to receive a lethal injection. Mercy is there to celebrate justice served. Lucy and Mercy could be bitter enemies, yet they share an undeniable connection. Their relationship grows from hostility to curiosity to intense, physical passion. But eventually Lucy must confess her reasons for getting involved in the cause: her own father (Elias Koteas) was convicted of murder and now waits on death row. Can Lucy and Mercy overcome their intense differences, or will these differences consume them?

Plot Synopsis: It's been a year since her older sister (Vanessa Marano)'s murder, and Echo (Laura Marano) is still far from being completely alright. Echo has been trying her hardest to be the strong one, while her mother takes too many antidepressants and her father works too much. Now, at the start of her freshmen year of high school, Echo receives an unlikely gift from Zoe's old boyfriend: her diary. Echo is hesitant to read it but can't put it down after she gets caught up in Zoe's secret life.

Plot Synopsis: A story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don't recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor…Sharon Tate.

Plot Synopsis: A destitute young man (Jamie Bell), raised by racist skinheads and notorious among white supremacists, turns his back on hatred and violence to transform his life, with the help of a black activist and the woman he loves.

Plot Synopsis: Set against the 1950's ‘golden age' of American male supremacy, Andy (Tye Sheridan), an introverted young man, joins Dr. Wallace Fiennes (Jeff Goldblum), a renowned lobotomist, on a tour to promote the doctor's recently-debunked procedure. As he increasingly identifies with the asylum's patients, he becomes enamored with a rebellious young woman (Hannah Gross) and lost in the burgeoning New Age movement of the west.
